Overview
Angel Tree, a ministry of Prison Fellowship, flows naturally out of our In-Prison Ministry. It is a ministry where individuals and churches purchase Christmas presents for the children of inmates. Bereans generously purchase 2 gifts for 50 or more children each year. The Angel Tree families are invited to our Christmas Cantata, which is followed by a luncheon and Christmas party where gifts are distributed to the children from their incarcerated parent. It is our hope that relationships are made between the families of Berean and the Angel Tree families. At the party, the Gospel is shared through the telling of the Christmas story. Berean began participating in the Angel Tree Christmas program in 2014.
Ministry Goals
It is our hope that relationships will be established with Angel Tree families, and we hope this will lead to opportunities to share the Gospel. Our prayer is that the families will feel the love of Christ, join us in worship, and involve their children in our children's and youth ministry programs. Angel Tree children are offered scholarships to attend summer camp with Berean's children; winning souls is the ultimate goal of Angel Tree!
