Our Mission
To make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and love others.
Matt 28:19-20 & Matt 22:37-39
Why we love
Because God loves us.
God the Father first loved us by calling us to Himself while we were dead in sin, for/giving our sins by the perfect life and atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ through faith, sanctifying us through the work of the Holy Spirit, and /giving us a sure hope of future glorification according to the unchanging nature of His love.
(1 John 4:19, Eph 1-2, & Rom 8:31-39)
How We Love
Upward: Love to God
Loving God is our first and primary aim. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment” (Matt 22:37–38). All true love is sourced in God and compels a response of love toward Him. Therefore, we strive to lovingly worship God by:
- Submitting to His authoritative and sufficient word (Heb 4:12-13, 2 Tim 3:16)
- Preaching expositionally from His word (2 Tim 4:1-5)
- Singing and praying to Him with praises and petitions (Eph 5:19-20, Matt 6:5-14, Acts 2:41-42)
- Celebrating the Lord's supper and baptizing believers (1 Cor 11:17-34, Matt 28:19-20)
- Purposeful stewarding of God’s physical and spiritual resources (Matt 25:14-30, 1 Pet 4:10)
Inward: Love to One Another
Loving one another is a natural outflowing of our love for God. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another” (John 13:34). We model the love Christ has for us by lavishly loving our Christian brothers and sisters. Therefore, we strive to love one another by:
- Discipling through Christ centered teaching and counseling ministries (Titus 2:1-10, 1 Cor 1:22-24, Luke 24:27, Eph 4:11-29)
- Equipping the saints for ministry (Eph 4:12-13)
- Fellowshipping together and encouraging one another in Christian community (Heb 10:24-25, 1 Thess 5:11)
- Bonding together in church membership and discipline (Matt 18:15-18)
- Shepherding the flock through pastoral care (1 Pet 5:1-5)
- Providing for the physical needs of those among us (Acts 6:1-6)
Outward: Love to Neighbor
Loving our neighbor is a culmination of our love for God and for each other. “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt 22:39). Our neighbors are defined by Jesus Christ as anyone within the realm of our influence who would benefit from us loving them. Therefore, we strive to love our neighbors by:
- Sharing the gospel with our neighbors and community (Rom 1:15-16, 1 Pet 2:1-7, Rom 10:11-17)
- Providing biblical counseling to the community (2 Tim 3:16, Col 1:27-28)
- Partnering with global and local missionaries and mission organizations (Acts 1:8, Matt 28:19-20, 3 John 1:5-8)
- Exhorting our members to do good works meeting the needs of their neighbors (Matt 5:13-16, Eph 2:10, Gal 6:10)

What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the disclosure of God’s truth and is perfect, reliable and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His morally and ethically perfect life and sacrificial, substitutionary death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him.
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore completely unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy and grace.
We believe that sinners are saved by God based upon His sovereign choice. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith.
We believe that baptism by immersion and communion as a memorial are ordinances of the Church, blessings to God’s people and symbols of Christ’s saving work for believing sinners.
We believe that God gifted the church with two offices: Pastor, responsible for shepherding the people of God through teaching, prayer and administration and; Deacons, responsible for serving the church by undertaking necessary and desired church ministry to free pastors for the work of shepherding the congregation of God.
We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself.
We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
