Biblical Counseling Ministry Spring Series — Anxiety, depression, fear, anger – are emotions a fact of life that “just are?” Or are emotions something to be mastered and sanctified? Life outside the garden is hard and as emotional beings, we all emote in different ways. To explore this most relevant topic, the Biblical Counseling Ministry will take a deep dive into a Biblical view of human emotions for its May study series. The four-week study will explore a Biblical theology of human emotions and how believers are to approach and deal with emotions in the process of sanctification. This will include a look into what makes us tick and how we tend to respond when the pressure-filled circumstances of life take hold. In addition to Biblical teaching on the subject, we will also engage in assignments and discussions that will help us all grow and change as we experience various emotional challenges. The study will start on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30 pm in the church Fellowship Chapel, and will meet each of the next three weeks until the end of the month. This will be informative, interactive, and light in respect to preparation…we hope you will join us! If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to Chris Preuss, Jeff Antone, or email biblicalcounseling@bereanlife.org.
