Caregivers can be heavily burdened. As we care for one another we bear the weight of those we serve along with the challenges that we face as individuals. Our community of believers at Berean abounds with carers. We each have an opportunity to care for our families, neighbors, and each other. What an opportunity we have to encourage one another as we minister broadly and in so many ways.
Jesus said: “Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me” Matthew 25:40
Brothers and sisters, no caring deed done as unto our Lord will go unrewarded. It is Jesus we are actually serving with each act. So, if you are weary in your work, if the burdens you are carrying for another, or if your own burdens are heavy today, be encouraged. Take a moment to cast your cares on Jesus and be renewed as you serve others with all your heart.
